Roof Replacement, Shipley

Our team recently completed a full roof replacement project on a semi-detached property in Shipley, West Yorkshire, transforming an ageing, worn roof into a modern, durable, low-maintenance roofing system.

The customer contacted us after years of wear had left their existing roof in need of renewal. To provide a long-term solution, we carefully erected scaffolding and stripped the roof back to the rafters before installing a complete new roofing system. The work included a new breathable membrane, eaves trays, treated battens, and Mannock Western Flat concrete tiles in grey.

Alongside the roof replacement, we upgraded the roofline with new white uPVC fascias, soffits, and black square guttering. We also carried out chimney repairs, installed a new fibreglass valley, bonded gutters between the neighbouring properties, and fitted new dry verges, dry ridges, dry hips, and hip support trays for improved protection and durability.

Despite the project being completed within a very tight schedule, our experienced team worked efficiently to complete the entire transformation from start to finish in just one day. Some rotten timber required replacement during the work, but careful planning and excellent teamwork allowed us to deliver a high-quality finish without delay.

The customer was delighted with the finished result, especially the speed of completion, attention to detail, and the dramatic improvement to the appearance of their home. The new roof is backed by a 15-year guarantee, with a 5-year guarantee provided on the roofline installation.
